Retour vers le Grand Rex

Clients : Ugo n Play, Universal Pictures / Studios France, Le Grand Rex Paris

----------

For the 30th birthday of the Back to the Future License, Ugo n Play agency and Universal Pictures had an idea ; organise a Back to the Future festival at Le Grand Rex Paris, one of the largest cinemas in Europe.

They needed a responsive teasing webpage of the event, displaying on screen the days the event would occur, and the days the tickets would be on sale. I took the famous BTTF control panel and made a real time clock with it :

----------

----------

After my work on the teasing web page, the creation of the official logo and the illustrative poster (see the whole project here), the last step was to create the official website of the event

The brief was to go along with the Back to the Future identity on a responsive display, available on all devices, and make the purchase of tickets fast and easy.

----------

----------

I really wanted to make a website for the fans ; so they could see and feel it was an event especially made for them.

I took
several iconic screenshots of the first movie, along with iconic quotes of BTTF ("I guess you guys are not ready for this yet ... But your kids are gonna love it", "Nobody - calls - me - chicken") and placed them all over the website, matching the content of the website. Nobody will call you chicken ... If you share the webpage. And so on.

So the website won't only be a webpage selling you tickets for a festival ; it's also a creation full of winks and references from the movies the fans love.
